Upon successfully completing the course and your Keystone Project, you'll earn your ANFT Certification Consultant credential, preparing you to work professionally with land managers and organizations seeking to certify Forest Therapy Trails, Spaces & Places. You'll also gain practical assessment tools, templates, and resources to support your consulting work, along with access to a growing international network of ANFT Certification Consultants. As a consultant, you'll help land managers navigate ANFT's certification process. The sites themselves receive ANFT Certified Forest Therapy Trail, Space, or Place designation once they've successfully completed the required process.

The course tuition is $1,095 USD, which includes online training, downloadable resources, practical assignments, and access to consultant support opportunities. There are no required in-person training sessions. Because the course is online, you can complete it from wherever you live. Any personal travel or expenses associated with completing your Keystone Project are your responsibility.

The online coursework takes approximately 20–25 hours to complete, with additional time needed for your Keystone Project. Because the course is self-paced, there's no required weekly schedule. You can work through the lessons and activities at a pace that fits your personal and professional commitments.

This course is designed for individuals who have already completed qualifying Forest Therapy or Forest Bathing Guide training. You don't need a background in clinical therapy, landscape architecture, or land management. To enroll, you must meet one of the following requirements: - Have completed ANFT Forest Therapy Guide training (your immersion does not need to be completed yet). - Have completed Forest Therapy Guide training through an ANFT-approved organization. - Have completed Forest Bathing Guide training through a non-approved organization and the ANFT Relational Forest Therapy Course. Your existing guide training provides the foundation. This course builds on that knowledge and teaches you how to apply it to site assessment, collaboration, and certification consulting.

Yes! ANFT's Trails, Spaces & Places program is international, and certified consultants can pursue opportunities with land managers and organizations around the world. Whether you're working with public parks, private properties, retreat centers, municipalities, or conservation organizations, the certification framework can be applied to a wide variety of landscapes and settings. Consultants work independently, developing their own client relationships and consulting opportunities. Local laws, professional requirements, and project-specific conditions may apply.

ANFT provides training, professional resources, ongoing support, and opportunities to connect with a growing international network of consultants and land managers. While ANFT may share project opportunities with qualified consultants, certification does not guarantee paid consulting work. ANFT Certification Consultants work as independent professionals, developing their own client relationships, establishing consulting fees, and managing their projects. Through the course and ongoing Consultant Gatherings, you'll gain practical tools, professional connections, and support to help you build your consulting practice and explore opportunities in this growing field.
